We carve websites. Not promises.

Monolith Web Design — Gard · Websites for tradespeople and local businesses

Websites for tradespeople, restaurateurs and independent businesses across the Gard and Hérault. Four finishes, four fixed prices, published before we’ve even spoken.

—  Press and drag across the stone. Each pass refines the finish. —  Keep your finger on the stone. The longer you hold, the smoother it gets.

—  Hold Space to carve, use the arrow keys to move the tool, press Enter for a single strike.

  1. Brut €390
  2. Layé €690
  3. Ciselé €1,190
  4. Poli €1,990

—  Four finishes, four prices. The more we carve, the finer the finish.

—  Not an agency. Good news for your budget.

01 — Work

Live websites. With their prices.

No made-up mock-ups: real websites, delivered or in progress. Each delivered site shows its finish, its price and what runs behind the scenes. Like many workshops, ours started out working for family: where that’s the case, the card says so.

—  Junas stone was used in the Roman arena at Nîmes. Nobody remembers the stonecutters’ names. Here, every job is signed.

Home page of jennifer-dieteticienne.fr, in French: “Get back to balanced eating, gently”, with the dietitian’s portrait.

Delivered Jennifer, dietitian — Junas

A dietitian’s practice, her patients, and everything that happens between appointments.

Public website, patient portal and admin area. AI-generated recipes and meal plans, complete patient records and follow-up, and gamification to keep patients motivated.

—  The live site, October 2026: the home page and the availability calendar, updated from the admin area.

Delivered Les Saveurs de la Broche — spit-roast caterer

A wood-fired spit-roast caterer across four départements, with no premises: the website is both shop window and office.

A local page for every town served (Nîmes, Alès, Uzès…), online quote requests and live availability. Behind it, a full admin area: quotes, event calendar and content.

In progress Mididix and Chez Cui-Cui by Mididix — Mauguio, Montpellier

Two brochure sites for two restaurants, with security as tight as it gets. Still on the workbench: the previews are live.

02 — Pricing

One block, four finishes. The finish is the price.

Four slabs, one stone. What separates them isn’t the quality of the work; it’s how much stone gets cut away. Fixed prices, published here and quoted the same on the phone. VAT not applicable (French micro-business, art. 293 B CGI).

—  You can carve these slabs too. The price won’t budge.

Let’s talk about your site

03 — Method

Six strata. SiteForge does the heavy lifting. Damien does the carving.

SiteForge is our in-house tool: an AI-assisted production line that prepares the raw material. Here is what it does and doesn’t do, stratum by stratum. Nothing goes live on your site until a human has checked it.

—  Five working days for Brut (rough), ten for Layé (dressed), fifteen for Ciselé (chiselled), twenty for Poli (polished): the more stone, the longer the carving. The timeline below is for a Layé job.

MachineHand

—  The workshop’s actual setting. Hatched: SiteForge. Solid: the hand. Drag to see what changes.

  1. D0Brief

    Thirty minutes on the phone.

    SiteForge

Transcribes the call. Pulls out the facts: trade, area, opening hours, services, what brings your customers in today. Notes what your competitors ten kilometres away are doing.

    Damien

Asks the questions that aren’t on the list. Decides what won’t go on the site.

  2. D1Structure

The pages, and especially the ones we won’t build.

    SiteForge

Proposes the site map, the sections of each page, internal links and meta tags.

    Damien

Cuts. A tradesperson doesn’t need eight pages; they need to be found and called.

  3. D2Copy

Your words, in the order your customers read them.

    SiteForge

Writes a first draft from what you told us, in your customers’ words, not trade jargon.

    Damien

Rewrites what matters by hand: the home page, the services, the contact page. Cuts any sentence nobody would say out loud.

  4. D4Design

Readable outdoors, in full sun, on a cracked phone.

    SiteForge

Assembles the mock-up using your branding: your colours, your logo, your photos. Generates the mobile and tablet versions.

    Damien

Sets the hierarchy, the contrast, the text sizes. Checks that the phone number shows up before anything else.

  5. D6Development

HTML, CSS, a little JavaScript. Nothing to update every Tuesday.

    SiteForge

Produces the static code. Optimises the images, fonts and metadata. Generates the sitemap.

    Damien

Reviews every line that matters. Tests on real devices. Wires up the form, the phone number, the directions and the reviews.

  6. D10Launch

Handing over the keys means actually handing over the keys.

    SiteForge

Deploys. Measures performance. Submits the site to Google.

    Damien

Calls you. Shows you how to change a photo, your opening hours, a price. Hands over every login. The fourteen days begin.

Fourteen days to say no.

04 — Guarantee

Once the site is live, you have fourteen days. If it isn’t right for you, say so: we take it down and refund you. No form, no explanation, no buts. The stone goes back to the workshop.

The guarantee covers the price of the site. The domain name, if it was bought in your name, stays yours. The fourteen days start on the day the site is live and you have the keys, not before.

—  It’s not bravery. It’s method. When the price and the deadline are written down, nasty surprises have nowhere left to hide.

Five questions people ask us on the phone

01 Why is it cheaper than an agency?

Because there is no agency. No project manager, no city-centre offices, no scoping meeting, no salespeople. One developer, an in-house tool that prepares the raw material, and a clear list of what we don’t do.

02 So AI builds my website?

No. SiteForge does the groundwork: structure, a first draft of the copy, base code, optimisation. Damien decides, rewrites, fine-tunes and checks. You’ll never find a sentence on your site that nobody has read over. The details, stratum by stratum, are in chapter 03.

03 I don’t have any photos. What now?

We work with what you have: your jobs, your dishes, your workshop, shot on your phone. We crop, clean up and compress. We don’t use stock images: your customers recognise them, and they don’t believe them. If you need a professional photographer, we’ll recommend one, and we take no commission.

04 Can I edit my site myself?

Yes. From Layé upwards, you can change text and photos yourself; from Ciselé, your menu or calendar too. We show you how at handover and leave you a help page written in plain language. If you’d rather just email us, that’s covered by the maintenance plan.

05 What if I cancel the maintenance plan?

The site stays yours. We hand over the files and the logins; you host it wherever you like, with whoever you like. No ransom, no website vanishing one Monday morning.

—  Sixth question, and the most common: “Will you come out to us?” Gard and Hérault: yes, in person. Further afield, by video call, and the coffee’s on you.

05 — Contact

Let’s talk about your site.

Tell us what you do, where, and what’s missing. We’ll reply within two working days with a recommended finish and a timeframe. You already know the price.

—  Your name, engraved as you type it. It doesn’t leave the page until you hit send.

For example: plumber in Saint-Christol-lès-Alès

A website, a menu you can change, being found on Google, replacing an old site…

Simplified course of the Vidourle, the border between the Gard and the Hérault, with Alès, Junas, Nîmes, Montpellier and Le Grau-du-Roi, down to the Mediterranean.
—  For most of its course, the Vidourle separates the Gard from the Hérault. We work on both banks. Simplified outline.

—  No “estimated budget” box: you’ve already seen the prices above.
